Fog hero
One fullscreen triangle. Every pixel runs a value-noise FBM three times over, each pass warping the domain of the next, so the field folds into itself and billows like smoke instead of sitting there like cloud. Wind and rise scroll it; the middle stays thin so a headline can breathe.
The pointer leaves a short ring of trail points. Each one swirls the fog around itself, thickens it, and lights it — the glow is multiplied by the local fog density, so the lantern lands on the smoke rather than floating over it. Points age out, and the swirl outlives the light.
Four looks ship as presets: noir, ember, arctic,
toxic. Each pairs a palette with the density, warp and lantern balance that
palette needs — a thin pale fog and a heavy sooty one are not the same effect recoloured.
